Hi, I'm Bri!

I am a passionate Accredited Mental Health Social Worker who has been privileged to support the Geelong community for over a decade. From a young age, I knew I wanted to work with children, young people, and families and I am proud to have built a career dedicated to empowering individuals and families to overcome challenges and thrive.

With over 15 years of experience in social work, I have always worked with children and young people in every role I’ve held. As a proud member of the Australian Association of Social Workers, I work from a strength-based, person-centred, and holistic perspective, helping children, young people and families to discover their resilience and achieve their goals in a supportive and compassionate way.

My specialist training includes EMDR, Theraplay, Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and many other evidence-based approaches. I focus on working closely with children, young people, and their families to ensure that support is holistic and tailored to the unique needs of each individual. This means looking at the whole picture, mental health, family relationships, school engagement, behaviour, friendships, and overall life satisfaction – because all of these elements are connected.

At Cornerstone Therapies, I believe that mental health is the foundation – the cornerstone of a young person’s ability to learn, grow, and build positive relationships. Our approach is grounded in compassion, evidence-based practice, and a deep understanding that every journey is unique.

When I’m not at work, I love spending time with my own family, including our three children. This personal connection to family life strengthens my belief in the importance of a supportive home environment and the powerful role it plays in a child’s well-being.
